Holding a bunny, goat, chicken or eggs requires a 50% deposit which goes toward the final price. Once you put a deposit down on an animal it CANNOT be switched to another animal or breed. Deposits are taken via Venmo, and Cash App.(instructions will be text to you) Cash is accepted after the initial deposit is paid. Other forms are accepted upon discussion. When paying your deposit please put your name, number, and which animal you are purchasing.
ALL animals will be posted first come first serve on our Website, HollingsworthFamilyFarm.com. When posted please message the farm page only and I will fill orders as messages are received. Deposit and signed terms and conditions are required at the time of the message.
We do not post animals until they are born. We do post on-site blog litter updates. We usually have healthy litters and birthings of our animals. Mother nature from time to time may have other plans. If something happens to your animal while you are waiting to pick it up, you may move your deposit to another animal or we can refund your deposit. We will accept deposits on bunnies at any age as long as you do not have a gender preference. Please understand that we can not guarantee the sex of a bunny until 4-5 weeks old. We do not let our bunnies out for adoption until they are 6 weeks old.
Once your deposit is paid then we can discuss a pickup date and time. Animals must be picked up on the date and time agreed upon. If you can not pick up at the agreed time and date we can board your bunny or goat for $25 per week paid at the start of the boarding time. If you no call, no show within 48 hours and we cannot get in touch with you the animal will be considered forfeited and back up for sale! NO refunds will be given! We do also board bunnies while you are on vacation. Boarding is paid at drop off. A small number of spaces are available.
Hollingsworth Family Farm never sells a sick animal. We do a health check before the animal leaves the farm. We send transition feed with the animal to help them transition to the feed you will be feeding to your animal. We do NOT accept return goats. All other returns will be on a case by case need but NO refunds will be given. The buyer is responsible for ALL expenses including medical after the animal leaves the farm. Due to the fragile nature of animals, we will not be held responsible for any injury, sickness, or death after 24 hour guarantee period.
If a goat or bunny is pedigreed we will give you a copy of their papers at pickup. It is your responsibility to keep track of paperwork. We will not reissue copies in the future.
We want to give you ample time to get to know and understand your new animal. Pick-up times are Wednesday thru Friday 11:00 to 3:00 pm. Saturday and Sunday 1:00 and 2:00 pm only. We will send a message reminder of your pick-up time 24 hours before. Please confirm pick up at that time. For your health and safety, we strongly suggest closed-toe shoes upon your visit. Dress accordingly. The animals will touch, rub and even possibly jump up to you. We do not allow outside food to be fed to the animals as they are all on a special diet.
